Have a 2009 vibe, 2.4l engine, 5 speed auto trans with about 72,000km Does anyone have any more info on this subject. Last month my speed sensitive power steering failed intermitently

The problem had fixed itself when i got in for the service appointment This is alarming and if this is the case i will probably pass on the vibe all together The dealership found some trouble codes in the computer (u0100, c1541, c1528) but couldn't replicate the problem

The problem has come and gone a few times since then and has failed.

This is my first car and i don't have much experience working on cars so apologies if i am a tad slow on these things I have been doing some research on my car ever since i got it about 3 days ago now. The way you describe the noise is exactly what my vibe was doing It was a wheel bearing

I replaced them both and am now back to smooth cruising Vibe 2009 just started to slowly idle worse and worse Ignition plugs changed, spark plugs changed, throttle body cleaned, mfs changed, and diagnostic done by dealer. For those asking about vibe stock 2025, planning is in progress

The dates are may 16th and may 17th

May 16th will be a meet and eat with the 17th being the main event We wanted to have it a 2nd day as three attendees from last year drove over 800 miles one way So having a time to chat with other vibe owners is an added bonus. My first vibe was a 5 speed manual, and i was a victim on the premature bearing failures in that tranny, so i don't recommend them, although others haven't had issues

My other vibe and the matrix have auto trannies, and those trannies have been issue free I prefer the nose on the 03/04 over the 05/08s, but that's token. As such with every other specification for my vibe, i can't seem to find a straight answer of the oem spark plug for my vibe Rather than pull a plug then make the purchase, i would prefer to have the plugs ready to go on game day

I believe, after reading many posts, denso is the oem plug

According to denso's website, sc20hr11 (3444) is the oem plug. The 2003 vibe gt is still in the shop (only been five years ) and will someday get it fixed and either sell it, or keep for a spare And finally the 2009 vibe gt, which i bought new in may of 2009, just turned over 40k miles and is slowly getting driven a bit more. The vibe and all newer cars use r134a refrigerant

I would use that kind instead of some generic substitute It is best to use real ac manifold gauges to check and fill the system if needed That way you can read the high and low pressure to make sure the system is operating properly, and not over fill it I know in the states, several auto parts places rent the gauges out and you.

The vibe does share the same tranny as the matrix
