I had a state farm personal articles police about 10 years ago for my phantom 4 For $79/year, your mavic 3 is covered for all damage scenario (including fly away) with zero deductible. I filed a fly away claim and after they paid it out, i received a letter saying my policy was cancelled

Once my mavic 4 pro arrives i am going to reach out. I would ditch both best buy and dji's plan, and go for state farm drone insurance We all know how excessive the rules are about what counts as commercial operation in the drone realm

Using your own drone to inspect your own roof counts as commercial

But i wanted to get my new fpv insured (the dji policy is way too expensive), so i checked with the local state farm agent. Are the people here getting state farm insurance just getting coverage for their drone or are they getting liability insurance as well Just the drone here for now But i don't think they'll insure for liability

They specifically ask if it's recreational, i'm not positive but i. The agent told me if the drone is used for commercial purposes, the drone is not covered I have my part 107, but i fly all recreational In the personalarticles policy, special conditions section item 7 cameras (this is were sf covers your drone) it states

You agree that no camera used for pay during the policy term will be covered.

It is not covered by care/refresh and don't want to cash in the state farm coverage (as they cancel with one claim and my mavic 2 pro is on that same policy) If an independent, please tell me which one you've had. I use geico but they dont have personal item insurance yes we have state farm for the house and cars and such I don't know if you can get the drone insurance without that

No clue quite possibly further north than you phantom 3, mavic, fpv, mini 4 pro, avata, avata 2, mavic 3, mavic 3 pro, mavic 4 pro, neo. Googled > amazon drone insurance amazon.com Drone insurance i'd read those policies very carefully, and compare with dji care refresh, also state farm insurance, if it is available in your us state Oh, and welcome to the forum !

State farm pap policy was a good thing for me

Just to be clear this policy is not a drone policy it is a personal article's policy and it covers things like jewelry and other personal belongings. I keep seeing people mention state farm drone insurance but when i call the local state farm agent they tell me state farm does not sell drone insurance Mike thanks for pointing that out.
